That's funny. I felt like I had more energy and strength to carry around the kids after losing 10kgs. For me it had to do with muscle tone though (i.e. when I was heavier I had very little muscle tone).
I started the C25k programme again today. I made it to 7 weeks by the beginning of winter but childcare and work commitments + bad weather conspired and I didn't finish it and eventually stopped running so I decided to start again from day 1 week 1. From a cardio point of view it was too easy today but because I did weights on Monday night my muscles were beginning to curse me by the end of the workout. It doesn't help that my warm down always includes stairs and a steep hill (to get me home). I'm going to do day 2 on Saturday and then figure out when I can fit in day 3 and in the meantime I have another weights session on Friday (although I may move it to tomorrow depending on how I feel).
James (and anyone else feeling ill) I hope you feel better soon. Sounds like you need to rest up to avoid getting any worse. Don't feel bad about not exercising, just try to eat well and drink lots of water.

Hey, I'll jump back on the list, I'm currently around 92kgs (pretty steady unfortunately) "short" term goal is to be 80kgs by the time my bubby is 9 mths, 9mths on 9mths off :P So January. And long term goal is to get to around 65-70kgs as thats my usually healthy weight.
I'm a bit annoyed actually as I've normally never had any trouble with weight and fitness :(
Oh I got Zumba for my Birthday so just learning and enjoying that, just need to do more often. Babies are just so tiring!!!

oscarboo I have tried several times to do exercise in the mornings but it never happens. The kids get up at 6am but the youngest has been getting up several times during the night to turn on the hall light that shines straight into our bedroom so have been getting broken sleep. Then DH leaves about 6.30. I am so looking forward to day light savings as I can go walking at night again

Jazzy I prefer night exercise too - I never used to - I used to be up and off every morning but that was all pre-kids... my kids get up so early anyway they are too hard to beat!
Still pretty crook here - went downhill last night and was in bed by 6 so I just need to see how I am later for training... I miss it so much when I cant go but I also dont want to die or pass my germs around to everyone else....

Yeah, I'm finding it really hard to find the time to exercise at the moment. I have been getting up at 5.30 and that works well. I don't mind if G get up while I am still doing it as normally she is too busy watching all the characters on the wii. I find by the time I get home in the afternoon, cook tea and do the jobs I just can't be bothered. Perhaps I will have to start making a deal with myself that if it doesn't get done in the morning I do it that night instead. I usually try to either do zumba or walk at the weekend as well. Can't wait for daylight savings as walking in the evenings is good. Just heard today my Zumba should be coming next week!

Hi team,
As I write this, I am snacking from a party bucket of Maltesers... (They were a gift, I didn't buy them for myself. I promise.)
Hubby and I have been TTC for over two years now. Fertility specialist has said he'll put me on Clomid when I lose 10kg.
In the last 6 weeks I have lost 5.5kg, through watching what I'm eating, cutting out the crap. I still have treats now and then, I just have to watch my daily calorie intake. I have started going to the gym, I'm also doing acupuncture and will be starting yoga soon.
I want to get down to my target weight, not just to be put on Clomid, but for myself. I know I can do it :)
I started at 88kg, I am now down to 82.5kg. Hoping to get down to 60kg. Feels like it'll be a long road ahead, but I am motivated!

Jazzy - Body for life is a 12 week intensive program, gym based, where you go 6 days a week, 2 cardio, 2 upper body, and 2 lower body workouts a week (alternated) and of course the eating plan.
Going to be tough but some of the results are amazing!! Do a google search.
Not quite sure how I am going to cope though, considering I got my program on Wednesday, and so wasn't a complete work out and I am still in agony in my upper body!! Oh well what is that saying I hate - no pain no gain!! I will put my weekly progress weight up on Sunday, as I am going away for a work conference from Sun - Thurs, so won' tget the chance.

Ahh I am still full of snot! Went to training last night though and it was a good thing there wasn't mch cardio as I would have died but it was all upper body weights - bliss - I love doing weights :)
Monkys - hope you enjoy your programme - just as well you have seperate days for legs/arms/cardio so you will get to rest your sore muscles.
Kelzie_Rose - put down the maltesers lol - glad you are here - hope that our little group can help you achieve your goal.
My PT (aka my mum!) is moving away at the end of next month :( :( I will probably join a gym then... won't be the same though.

Hi lovely ladies, would you mind if I join this thread? I'm Tanya and currently weigh 86.7kgs (up a whole kg from last week - WTF, but do have AF so not sure if that makes a diff)??
My goal weight is 65kgs. I gym pretty much 6 days per week in the mornings (5.45am classes) so I don't lack motivation, I just can't seem to get my eating under control.
When do you weigh-in and do you update the lists individually? I'm not sure how to update.
Thanks
