How do you know when MC has actually happened?
I've been bleeding since Sunday, scan on Tuesday showed my cervix was still closed. Passed a couple of clots today, but I know after the actual MC you can bleed up to 2 weeks.
All I know is what the nurse told me is that you can feel quite unwell and possibly faint.
I think that's a hard question and the only way to know for sure would be bloods to check your hcg levels. I've had a normal natural miscarriage and an ectopic and both of those were just like a heavy period really. Even though I had nasty drugs for the ectopic I never felt unwell or faint. I was actually perfectly fine apart from period like cramp but my hcg returned to 0.
Thanks kebabkat, I rang the clinic this morning, my hCG kevels were down to 800 on Tuesday from 910 on Friday. They suggested to see how I go over the weekend and have bloods done again on Monday.
I bleed for two weeks then a week latter the proper clots and things came, you need to just keep looking at levels and wait. It makes it very hard waiting
